Meet Abby! Abby graduated from Capitol in April of 2025 and loves doing blowouts, colors and structured gel manicures. Outside of the salon she loves to be outside soaking up the sunshine.
Meet Adilene! Adilene graduated from Capitol Beauty School in April 2025 from the esthetics program and has been passionate about helping others feel confident in their own skin ever since. She truly loves what she does and enjoys creating a welcoming space where clients can relax and feel their best. Outside of work, Adilene cherishes spending time with her fiance and family, and she can always be found enjoying a good book. Meet Crystal! Crystal is one of our newest members of the team at Canvas and we are so excited to have her! Crystal has about 5 years of experience as an esthetician, and is excited to be expanding her service menu options. Her favorite services currently are the Signature Custom Facials and Dermaplane Facials. When Crystal isn’t working, she is either spending time with her family or jamming out to music. Have you met Elsie? Elsie joined our Sales Desk Team this May and we are so glad to have her! Elsie recently graduated from Bellevue East and is learning more about the industry while waiting to go to cosmetology school. You may see her up at the desk helping guests, answering the phones, or helping Ashlynne with a project. When Elsie isn’t at work, you will often find her hanging out with her boyfriend or at the gym. Make sure to say hi to Elsie the next time you are at Canvas!
Meet Hailey! Hailey graduated from Xenon Academy at the end of 2024. She is most excited about making sure people feel beautiful in their day to day lives while focusing on fashion color services. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as playing her favorite video games.
Meet Maddi P. She has been behind the chair for 14 years and still loves every minute of it! Maddi’s favorite service is Signature Blonding-she has a true passion for creating bright, beautiful blondes. Her favorite part about being a stylist is connecting her with clients, building meaningful relationships, and making sure everyone leaves completely pampered. When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find Maddi spending time with her big family, hanging out with her kids and husband, cooking up everything possible, or enjoying time with friends.
Maddy S. is one of our newest sales desk associates. This smiling face is here part-time while she is going to school to become a teacher. When Maddy isn’t working, she is spending time with her boyfriend, working on Bible Study, or reading a new book. Maddy has experience as a hair stylist and can answer any questions you may have about your next hair service or at-home care.
Meet Madisyn! Madisyn joined our team after graduating from the Esthetics Academy earlier this spring! Madisyn is excited to learn from her teammates, and grow as an esthetician. Her favorite services currently are Lash Lift and Tints and Waxing. When Madisyn isn’t working, you could find her spending time with her boyfriend at the pool, or going on a hike! Madisyn is open for select services now, with more options available soon!
Meet Megan! Megan graduated from Capitol Beauty in April 2025. Megan’s favorite services are highlights, dimensional colors, classic and clipper cuts. Outside of work, Megan loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, watching TV and being outside. Megan is now accepting clients for most services, and models for others. Meet Skylee! She is our Lead Nail Artist. Her favorite service is Gel X manicures and designs. She loves seeing her clients light up when they get their nails done. She has been a licensed nail tech since December of 2023. When she is not at work, she is reading or with her loved ones.
Meet Valeria! Valeria graduated hair school in December of 2022. Her favorite services are vivids, blondes and layered cuts. Valeria’s favorite part of being a stylist is seeing the transformation and making her clients feel like their best selves. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find Valeria at home with her partner and two cats or out in nature.
Meet Zoey! Zoey is our newest stylist in our apprentice program, who graduated from Capitol Cosmetology School in May. When Zoey isn’t at work, you can find her reading a new book! Zoey’s favorite services are currently long, layered haircuts and our renewal scalp treatment. Be on the lookout for openings on her books for services soon!
Meet Maribel! Maribel graduated from Capital beauty school in December of 2023 and has been a part of our team since March. Her favorite services include men’s cuts, blonding services and extensions. She has a passion for making people feel good about themselves and getting to meet all of the amazing people that sit in her chair. Outside of the salon, you’ll find Maribel enjoying local music shows and festivals or going on adventures with her boyfriend and her dog Moomoo.
Mary is an esthetician here at Canvas Salon and Day Spa. She graduated from Capitol School of Hairstyling and Esthetics in September 2020. Mary was born and raised here in Nebraska. She loves coffee and a good skin care routine 🙂 Her passion is to help you feel confident in your skin. One of Mary’s favorite things about being an esthetician is creating a relationship with her clients and helping them achieve their goals. She’s here to help you from a simple brow wax to customizing a treatment plan to fit your needs. She truly loves all the services she provides, but some of her favorites are lash lifts and skin care treatments.As an esthetician, Mary is here to help you feel welcomed, heard, and remind you that self-care isn’t selfish.
Brylee’s passion for nails was inspired by her mom being in the same industry. What she loves about being a nail tech is watching her clients’ confidence boost after a fantastic nail appointment! Her favorite service is builder gel. Since she gets to watch her clients’ natural nails grow and stay healthy. While doing nails, Brylee is also in college-majoring in business. She loves learning and has always had a passion for doing nails so she decided to take on both!
Outside of work Brylee is either doing crafts or hanging out with her French bulldog.. As a nail technician, Brylee is here to make sure you feel valued as she guides you through your nail journey.
Meet Bree! She has one year behind the chair, and has been loving every second of it! Bree’s favorite services include dimensional brunettes. She loves chatting with people and making sure they leave feeling confident in themselves and their new hair! In her free time you’ll find her snuggled up with her cat, thrifting with friends, or trying new recipes with her partner.
For more than 20 years, Erin has poured her heart into hairstyling, shaping not just hair, but stories and connections too. When she’s not styling, you’ll likely find her with her nose in a book, cuddled up with a Hallmark movie, or relishing precious moments with her beloved family and doggies.
Ashlynne joined our team in 2018 and has been with us since! As our Salon Manager, you’ll often find Ashlynne assisting at the front desk, managing inventory or other various tasks. Her favorite aspect of the job is event planning working closely with brides to ensure their special day runs smoothly and connecting with our regulars. When she’s not at the salon, Ashlynne enjoys spending time with her husband, video-chatting with her sister and nephew, or engaging in creative activities. She has a passion for thrift shopping and discovering the beauty in unique items.
Kristin has 20 years of experience behind the chair and is currently Canvas’ Salon Manager. Her favorite hair to do is gray coverage and gray blending, but she loves a challenging hair transformation as well. She loves making people feel valued and helping others achieve their goals. Whether it’s their hair, health, a good place to eat, or a game to play with friends, she’s there with suggestions! On her days off, you’ll catch her spending time with her husband and 3 girls, hanging out with friends or reading a good book.
